A Home for all Seasons Danielle Rollins' New Book
“Gracious Living and Stylish Entertaining” by one of the best
I've admired Danielle Rollins's style for many years. This Southern tastemaker and designer loves color, and her work makes me happy. Her new book, published by Rizzoli, is a volume of irresistible photos showcasing her career as a designer and style icon. A Home for all Seasons is packed with page after page of tabletop ideas, entertaining tips, and her gracious, fun design projects. Rollins takes us on a journey where she makes a fresh start (newly divorced), unearths a hidden gem (her new home/project in Atlanta), and shows us just how to bring a new home to life.
“The house was a Cinderella story waiting to be told, and I knew I was the right person to turn the fairy tale into real life - any maybe repair myself in the process”
Here a butler’s pantry is mixed with textures and patterns in a way that’s not too fussy but not ordinary by any means.
Behind Rollins is her entryway, which she says complies with her design philosophy that guests should get a “certain kind of thrill” when first walking through the door but not be overstimulated. She loves wallpaper and her book gives you plenty of ideas.
She Loves Entertaining
I wish I could go collecting with Rollins. She seems to have the best linens, incredible china, uniquely monogrammed napkins, and a way of putting everything together for a fabulous soiree - say an Easter Brunch?
The colors are so striking! The pink table cloth shows off the more muted china. Who wouldn’t want to be invited here?
