Holiday Decor - A Sentimental Journey

My children’s masterpieces still have a place in my holiday decor.

I don’t know if I’ll ever grow out of using my kid’s homemade decorations in my holiday decor. They are 25 and 29 years old now, but I love taking that nostalgic walk back in time when I unwrap their ornaments and artwork to put on display. There are gingerbread men dotted with Red Hots, pinecones with sparkle balls and glitter, and a picture of my daughter standing on a ladder hanging the first ornament on the tree. What I love about this drawing is she nailed her ultra curly hair so well. I’d like to know if you share my passion.

Pinecones circa 1998 make an appearance every Christmas.
