Trending Now: White Handbags
When I think of a white handbag my mind immediately travels back to the sixties. Proper ladies wore smart dresses with boat necklines that grazed the knee and they carried a top handle white bag. Fast forward to this season, and these bags your mother might have used, come in all different shapes and sizes and they are reminiscent of that era but with a lot more style.
Vintage is always an option. This Hermes bag from the 60’s is crafted from white Beluga whale leather. For those who are purests, you can find this on 1st Dibs at a modern price.
I’m trying to add more “city bags” to my collection. I’m looking for something less utilitarian and more fun. This bag by Marge Sherwood for Barney’s fits the bill: it’s stylish, fresh, reasonably priced and can morph into another bag via the strap.
