Homemade Fragrant Sachets

Every holiday season, I love making homemade gifts, but I usually run out of time to accomplish all I want. This year I’m keeping it simple. I have put together some fragrant sachets with items you may already have in your backyard. The muslin bags I purchased on Amazon, and the velvet ribbon is by May Arts. Make extra to keep a few for yourself.

Candy canes, pine tips, juniper snippets and a little sprinkle of vanilla makes a delightful sachet.

Dried grapefruit, rosemary, lavender, eucalyptus, and mint combine for an intoxicating scent.

To dry the grapefruit, slice it thinly, arrange on a wire rack and bake at 200 degrees for about two hours. The juniper and pine tips can be found at Trader Joe’s or from your Christmas tree seller. Have fun making your own combinations.
