Bows are Back!

Bows are making a comeback and from what I’ve seen, they’re not just for school girls anymore. Jennifer Behr has capitalized on this market, crafting handmade bows out of New York. She attaches them to French barrettes and adding one to your hair can add just the right amount of chic you’re looking for. Her styles range from velvet bows in rich colors like black, blush, cayenne, burgundy and navy, to pearl embellished bows, to this season’s ruffled edge bow. Some are small enough to pull back bangs and wear on the side or tie your hair in a small twist in the back.

A new style this season for Behr was the Olivia bow. Satin with ruffled edges in hues such as lilac, navy and olive, this bow is perfect to tuck into a messy bun. The possibilities are endless.
