What to Wear this Weekend?

The first weekend in November is here and those of us in Southern California might think we are still in June. Except of course, for the cool evenings. This weekend I am going with something that can double as a day-to-evening look

All of these pieces can transfer to most seasons.

The foundation of this outfit is a dress by Cynthia Rowley. This cheetah print maxi features short, “flutter” sleeves and a pleated bodice. It fits loosely but can be cinched with a belt for a more fitted look (see similar). When the temp drops in the evening add this jean jacket by Fidelity. It is my favorite for two reasons: it is as soft as butter and slouchy. I’ve added a vintage JCrew statement necklace (see similar) and a crossbody by Cuyana in blush (which can be monogramed for $15 more). My go-to fresh scent is Blanche by Byredo. It smells like soap and the beach all in one. The small changes I would make to transfer this to evening would be to swap out tennies or flat sandals for ankle boots and maybe add a scarf for warmth. You are set - now go do something fun!
