Putting on the Pink

In an effort to take the chill out of February, I am immersing everything in the glow of the color pink. In color psychology, pink is the sign of hope. It also represents caring, compassion and, of course, love. It is a positive color that inspires warm and comforting feelings. How many times have you heard that “love is in the air” in the month of February? I’m sure its due to the commercially-charged holiday of Valentine’s Day, but you can’t escape the month without seeing the rosy, romantic color everywhere.

Pink is a color that marries well with so many other hues. Keep your pink soft and it is best friends with purple, green, gray and white.

If you see a sunset that is bathed in pink you will probably notice the next day that so many of your friends were inspired by the same color (the evidence is in the social media posts). Pink is soothing.

A pink glow lets us know everything is going to be all right.
